Piano

Alexis has been teaching piano for ten years. She has her own method of teaching and reading music. Piano is the center of all instruments. If another instrument is desired, like the guitar or the sax, the piano is a great basic teacher for music.

Voice

Alexis studied private voice lessons for ten years. She studied opera and the history of opera. While learning to improve the voice, it is important to be flexible. So, she teaches voice according to the student. There are vocal exercises that are done at the beginning of each lesson. Then, if the student is interested in Show Tunes and Broadway songs, she will teach those songs. If a student is interested in other songs, she will accomodate those interests. Anyone can learn to sing; It is a matter of finding your own voice.
